Thanksgiving on the beach

Ly + Alan spent Thanksgiving this year on the beach in San Diego (complete with BBQ turkey burgers) and it was wonderful. We were reminded of all the things we are thankful for - our families, our friends, and the beautiful world surrounding us - just to name a few. We hope your Thanksgiving was full of family, good food and lots of laughs.

DC Weekend

Last weekend Mel came to visit us here in DC all the way from SLC. We had tons of fun showing her around all our favorite places in the DC metro area. We went on a tour of the monuments, did some shopping in Georgetown and of course went to Ly's favorite place - to visit the pandas at the zoo! A Day for Celebration!

Earlier this week Ly + Alan celebrated a very important day -- Alan's 26th Birthday. I was going to make a list of the reasons why Alan is the best husband ever but then realized it would take forever and day to write it. So in order to spare you all the lovey-dovey stuff and save myself some time I just wanted to wish Alan a super happy birthday and here's to an eternity of more! =)

Black bear, black bear what do you see?

Ly is finally feeling better and in celebration of the event Ly + Alan took one of their infamous drives to Shenandoah - and saw a few animals...including two elusive black bears and some awesome deer.
